Hi, I'm Dana, wife to Jeff and proud mother of eight year old fraternal twin boys born via IVF and a baby girl. After attending college in Georgia, I moved to Virginia and continued school there. Shortly after arriving I met my husband, Jeff. We have been together 11 years.

Soon after marrying, we both wanted to start a family. Months of trying to conceive (TTC) passed and still no pregnancy. We decided to find a Reproductive Endocrinologist (RE). Within a month of seeing my RE I began injections for our 1st IVF cycle. Weeks later I received a phone call from my RE. I was pregnant! A few weeks after that on Valentine’s Day, we found out we were having twins! Months later my beautiful babies were born and all my prayers were answered. That moment is when I decided I was going to do everything I could to help others become a family. I knew one day I would carry a baby for a very special couple (or two!) and help them create their family.

After researching Surrogacy thoroughly, I decided to search for my first couple as a Gestational Surrogate. I matched with a great couple close to home. We had a super journey that resulted in a healthy, big baby boy! It was wonderful helping them complete their family and we still keep in touch.

Because of the incredible journey I was blessed with the first time, I decided to pursue another Surrogacy. After talking to many couples, I met Jamie and Victor. I knew right away they were the ones I had been searching for. Things fell right into place for us and before we knew it I was pregnant with Zachary! The pregnancy went like clock work. We called and emailed each other all the time and either laughed or cried together until we were all talked out. All of us couldn't wait to meet Zachary. In December 2005, another miracle of Gestational Surrogacy was welcomed into the world.

I have had 4 Caesarian Sections, so I have chosen to no longer carry babies, but to use my expertise and experience to help others come together to make their own dreams come true. I love the miraculous journey we call Surrogacy. It's nothing short of a miracle when two families can come together for one common goal - to create a baby for deserving parents.

Hi, I’m Jamie, wife to Victor and proud mother of a girl and fiveboys. I graduated with a BS in Marketing and Business Administration, University of Maryland at College Park. Back then I had dreams of working for a big advertising agency or being part of a marketing firm. I got married soon after college and before I knew it I was pregnant with my first child. The minute I held her, all thoughts of "the big career" vanished. I was in love. I happily settled into life as a stay-at-home-mom.

After giving birth to a son, I faced secondary infertility. With the help of Clomid I was able to eventually have another baby. In 1998 I got pregnant without medical intervention.

A routine pap smear in week ten of the pregnancy revealed I had an
extremely rare cervical cancer - there were 60 cases in the world. I consulted with specialists from Johns Hopkins, Mt. Sinai, and Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore. I decided against termination of the pregnancy and delivered my son at 36 weeks by C-section.

After my baby's birth, I had an immediate radical hysterectomy.  My Gynecologic-Oncologist thought he saw more cancer but the pathology came back clear. I was cured!  The doctor said my son was a miracle baby; he had saved my life. If I hadn't gotten pregnant the cancer would have spread before it was discovered.

I've always enjoyed helping people and this was especially so after getting my own cancer diagnosis. I teamed with nine other women from across North America to found a non-profit organization, EyesOnThePrize.org (EOTP), to help women with gynecologic cancers. I served as the Executive Director and Mailing List Administrator while the organization got off the ground.

After I divorced and remarried I discovered the miracle of Surrogacy. My new husband was childless and we wanted a baby together. When my RE told me that with the help of a Gestational Carrier it was a real possibility I was very excited. I jumped in with both feet and am very active in the Surrogacy community. I also founded and manage SurroTalk, an email list where Intended Parents can talk to each other and ask questions.

When I first lost my fertility to cancer, I never dreamed that with the help of wonderful Surrogates like Dana I would still be able to have a child. When Dana delivered Zachary, I got my second miracle baby. I am so thankful for her and her supportive family, and to also live in a time where such things are possible. My husband and I have recently completed our final surrogacy with a terrific Gestational Carrier from Oregon (our fourth GC).

One of the things I love about Surrogacy Options is it allows me to use all of my life experiences to help others. I look forward to helping you match with your Surrogate and have your own miracle baby.
